Raised in Puglia (Southern Italy), Antonio Miucci (1994) is a fashion photographer, visual artist and junior art director who lives and works in Milan. He holds a MFA in Photography and Contemporary Art and a BFA in Arts and New Media Studies, both from Brera Fine Arts Academy.
His ethic and aesthetic research, which is influenced by art, pop culture and queer/gender studies, questions the issues of identity and self- expression, investigating beauty and kindness, vulnerability and bravery. Through visual and digital arts mixed with portrait and fashion photography, as well as the significative use of vibrant colours, the author’s will is to create evocative and stratified romantic-dreamy-pop stories.
His works have been exhibited in Italy and abroad for several prizes, presentations and group shows (Haute Photographie Rotterdam 2022, Gender Project Berlin 2022, Paris Photo 2021, Prix Picto de La Mode 2020, Palm Photo Prize 2020, Artissima & GQ Italia, Cardi Gallery, Voies Off, Triennale Design Museum, Fondazione Meravigli) and published in several platforms and magazines (Artribune, Der Greif, Fresh Eyes, Gup Magazine, GQ Italia, CAP74024, Rolling Stone, Vogue Italia, Pellicola Magazine).
